Set against the expansive backdrop of Paradise Valley, Skylar and Erik’s wedding at Sage Lodge was a refined, formal celebration layered with softness, femininity, and intentional design.
From the outset, the direction was clear: elevated, romantic, and impeccably tailored. The aesthetic drew from a soft, romantic sensibility—layered with delicate textures, subtle pattern, and a light, airy palette.
For couples planning a Sage Lodge wedding in Paradise Valley, Montana, this celebration is a refined example of how formal design can feel both elevated and deeply personal.

Designing a Sage Lodge Wedding with a Soft Pink and Green Palette
A palette of fresh green and soft pink carried throughout the day, offering a clean, romantic contrast to the natural tones of the valley.
Florals were approached in a refined garden style—organic in movement, yet highly controlled in composition. Rather than overfilling the space, arrangements were placed with intention, allowing each moment to feel elevated and considered.
Softness was introduced through a tonal pink and green palette, layered with watercolor paper goods and refined floral compositions. The overall effect was light and cohesive, with each element contributing to a sense of balance rather than excess. The result was a look that felt feminine, polished, and quietly luxurious

Sage Lodge Wedding Ceremony Design in Paradise Valley
The ceremony design embraced a more structured approach, creating a sense of arrival without overwhelming the setting.
Floral placements were intentionally spaced along the entrance of the aisle, offering softness and visual rhythm while keeping the focus on the couple and the surrounding landscape. The scale and restraint allowed the moment to feel both elevated and effortless.

Sage Lodge Wedding Reception Design
The reception unfolded within a softly layered reception space, where romance met structure.
The layout was intentionally composed with a mix of round and long tables, creating a layered, dynamic flow throughout the space. With two distinct table designs woven throughout, the variation added depth and visual interest while maintaining a cohesive, elevated aesthetic.

Tablescapes were composed with a thoughtful balance of detail-architectural florals, embroidered linens, and candlelight working together to create a cohesive, immersive environment. Lighting remained warm and diffused, enhancing the palette while maintaining a clean, editorial finish.

As the evening transitioned into late night, the energy only intensified. DJ Briggs took over with a perfectly curated set that kept the dance floor packed, effortlessly carrying the momentum from dinner into an all-out celebration. Hand-painted tambourines and custom monogrammed light-up necklaces made their way through the crowd, adding a playful, immersive layer to the experience.
In a nod to New Orleans-style revelry, the night ended in a spirited send-off as guests tossed paper towels into the air—a carefree, high-energy moment that felt both unexpected and unforgettable. Late-night bites of pizza were passed alongside Elle’s Belles’ signature hand pies and cookies, offering the perfect indulgent finish before guests boarded the party buses back to downtown Bozeman.
